TAILGATE REPLACEMENT - complete unit is fairly quick and easy to fit, bit fiddly adjusting the hatch locking pins, half an hour to refit the wiper, and you need to get some 968 seals for the hatch pin holes (they are an integral part of the 944 hatch, but are part of the body on the 968). - Martyn C

NOISY FUEL PUMP - probably on the way out, but check for restrictions in the fuel lines ( dirty fuel filter?) - Bert G
