Trackday prepared but definitely not abused as the £11,000 worth of work over the last 4 years will testify ( invoices available for inspection). 18th June, 2005 ~ Pete's 944 1987 Turbo is for sale. Titanium grey, black half leather. Running at 265 bhp, modified Eproms, (originals supplied), uprated brakes, adjustable rear anti roll bar (original supplied), replica 17 inch wheels with Bridgestone SO2's (225x45x17 and 265x40x17). 107,000 miles, top end rebuild at 99,358 miles, history supplied. Car hasn't been used for past 9 months (shame on me), current MOT lasts until Oct 2005, car has been garaged, battery conditioner connected. £6,000 would be good. It started first time yesterday, and had it's first move out of the garage since Nov 2004.
Also, if anyone want's some track day wheels and tyres (don't destroy your road tyres on track days). Set of 4 original 16 inch 'Teledials', offset 52.3 (944 Turbo fit), shod with Pirelli P Zero C worn tyres. NOTE the tyres are race spec C, and are for 'dry use only'. Plus, 2 x BBS wheels, offset 52.3, shod with two Pireeli P Zero C spec worn tyres. Plus, an additional 3 tyres, as above. £150.00 the lot, or they can be split into sperarate lots.
All tyres have been used on track days, and are therefore worn, but are OK for at least two more (dry) days. This of course depends on how much you abuse them. The C spec tyres are hand built, and can be taken down to treadless (slick like) without compromise on perfomance. Tyres are 245x45x16, and yes yes yes, they can be used on fronts as well as rears on the 944 turbo.
A set of 4 wheels and tyres can be carried in a 944 to track days, but if you have a full size spare, remove it first.
